‘Twelve pounds? For a pie?’
Me, in my video about the cancellation of EdFringe
I’m currently developing my debut solo character comedy show, So, how we all doing? I gig on the London circuit and travel to regional festivals like Leicester & Brighton.
I’m a cast member of two house teams at London’s The Free Association improv theatre; Keith & The Present Company. This second team was auditioned from the most exciting, up and coming performers at the theatre. Not my words, but I’ll totally regurgitate them.
Recently I made a viral video about the cancellation of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It appeared on the Guardian, Broadway World UK & The British Comedy Guide.
Sometimes I make online videos. Other times I stick shorter ones on IGTV or TikTok.
Just know, I’m the funniest person you’re yet to meet…
Long-listed for Funny Women Comedy Shorts 2020
Long-listed for ScreenSkills TellHerVision Writing Comedy for Television Project
I’m returning to Leicester Comedy for the first time since February 2020. Join me Thursday 9 – Friday11 February when I’ll be performing my show three times.
A bit more about the show:
I’m Gracie Canoux, debut documentary filmmaker and pundit. It’s been a tough few years of late – a bit of a ruddy struggle. Join me as I don a turtleneck, pick up my camera and travel the length and breadth of Great Britain (not Norfolk) to ask the age-old – and actually rather profound – question, how are you?
Debut character comedy from Katie Davison. As seen on BBC Three, heard on BBC Radio Essex. Shortlisted for Best Mockumentary at LA Indie X Festival.
